David Shipley is the CEO and co-founder of Beauceron Security. A security professional for more than a decade, David got his start in cybersecurity at the University of New Brunswick in 2012, and the Atlantic Security Conference was his first-ever security conference.  

Since 2017, David has worked with his team to build a cybersecurity awareness software as a service firm here in Atlantic Canada, which now serves more than 650 customers and helps educate more than 650,000 people about cybersecurity. David frequently presents at public and private events around the world and often appears on local, regional and national news to help talk about cybersecurity events and issues.

In 2022, David was asked to testify to the House of Commons Standing Committee on National Security and Public Safety about cybersecurity issues.
